This cycle I was allowed to write my publications Staff editorial. This experience shows my commitment to diversity, as it was important to me that I hear and showcase the opinions of my staff to the fullest. In order to do this, I went to every table group and pitched my idea. Following this, I opened the table to all participants to give me feedback on my pitch, whether it be something they agreed with or disagreed with. As a result, I was able to create a pitch that had a variety of diverse perspectives and represented the opinions of my staff.
